1. Who we are

Berrypie ("we", "us", "our") provides a verified-jobs platform for candidates and employers. These Terms govern your use of Berrypie as a Candidate. Berrypie is operated by Berrypie Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered address and full company details are available on request from [email protected].

2. Account & one-time fee

You may register a Berrypie Candidate account free of charge. To unlock employer identities, apply to roles, and trigger identity verification (KYC), you must pay a one-time fee of £20 via our payment processor (Stripe). The fee is non-refundable except where required by law (e.g. if we cannot deliver the service due to a defect on our side).

3. Your responsibilities

• You will provide accurate, current, and complete information when signing up and during verification.
• You will not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, employment history, or skills.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
• You will not attempt to circumvent our anti-cheating mechanisms in skills assessments.
• You will not use Berrypie to transmit unlawful, harassing, or infringing content.

4. Skills assessments & psychometric tests

Skills assessments are AI-graded and proctored using camera, microphone, screen recording, and second-device monitoring. By starting an assessment you consent to this monitoring. Psychometric tests are self-reported and intended for informational use by employers; they are not a substitute for professional psychological evaluation.

5. Shareable public profile

You may generate a tokenized public link to your profile. The link displays only your skills, levels, psychometric scores, and verification badges — never your email, full address, or identity documents. You can revoke the link at any time from your dashboard, and revocation takes effect immediately. By generating a link, you give your explicit consent (GDPR Art 6(1)(a)) to make that data publicly viewable until you revoke it.

6. Termination & deletion

You may close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. On request we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain (e.g. tax records linked to your KYC fee). We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms or use the platform fraudulently.

7. Liability

Berrypie is provided "as is". We do not guarantee employment outcomes or interview offers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and on first sign-in after the change. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
